DDM Organizing’s Three Easy Steps
Realize you need an Organizer
Once you realize the need for an organizer, you contact DDM Organizing through website or phone. During our phone conversation, several questions will be asked to get a better idea of your organizing needs. A free on-site consult is scheduled in which I come to your home and listen/look at what your needs are.
Customize the Plan
Once we have looked at and discussed what would best suit you, we schedule a session (or two) and determine what will happen. You and I work together through this. Will we be purging? Decluttering? Do you need junk haul removal (for the larger jobs)? Do you want to sell your items? Do you want to donate your stuff? A lot can happen that will personally be related to your needs. I will always keep in mind your end goal as the top priority.
Finalizing the Process
After a couple of sessions, we continue to assess what needs to be done. Are you working through the entire house? Getting ready for a move, or just wanting to purge? Keep in mind that as you are getting organized, the mess often gets worse before it gets better. It is hoped that you'll be satisfied with the results and want to maintain your home living/working space’s organization. DDM can teach you how to do it yourself, OR have routine scheduled maintenance checkups.

I presented Dorothy with (what seemed to me to be) an impossible task: clean-out a 3 bedroom house overfilled with 3 households of furniture, knick-knacks, and construction materials, AND with an absentee owner - ME, stuck in NY during COVID lockdowns. It took her 5 months, but the house is empty, with about 95% of the goods being sold at an estate sale (conducted separately by a 3rd party) or donated to charity. The price was more than reasonable, and I received regular reports, including photos and videos. I could not be more pleased with her work and have to recommend her heartily!
