Clearing the attic

“Dorothy Draa-Miller was one of the best things to happen to us—perfect in every way. She was so wonderful to work with—enthusiastic, lots of energy, and respected our decisions about what to keep and what to get rid of...To us, the task looked overwhelming. It took Dorothy about ten minutes to develop a plan for attacking this task—she had a plan as to how to approach the task, divide the contents of attics and dispose of those items we wanted to get rid of. We made the decisions—she did the work. it was amazing how little time it actually took to accomplish these tasks—and the attics were emptied except for those items we were giving to children and moving with us. Dorothy took care of the items which were donated to charity—and she was very understanding about what charities we supported. And we were ready to move.


After we moved she was just as valuable. The day after the movers deposited endless cartons in our cottage, Dorothy arrived. She immediately “attacked” the kitchen—emptied dozens of dish packs and other cartons, organized the cupboards/drawers and put everything away. Don’t think kitchen items were just put in cupboards/drawers—she had studied how the kitchen in our house had been arranged and followed accordingly. Therefore, it was very easy for us to find the things we needed. She did the same in the dining room and our bookshelves. There is no way we could have accomplished these tasks in weeks, let alone in 2 days.


There is no way we can sufficiently convey how good this woman is. She is not only competent, she is so nice to work with. We highly recommend her for those downsizing, dealing with estates, moving, and just plain getting organized. We are so glad we found her.
